Skipper 3.3.2: Custom Tasks after export
Sent September 20, 2022 · Release · Skipper 3.3.2
Skipper 3.3.2 was released in September 2022. It added Custom Tasks: actions that run after the whole project export, after each migration file or after each schema file. A typical use is a code formatter such as PHP Coding Standards Fixer on every exported file.
Create Custom Tasks in Skipper and save even more time
In today's Skipper update we bring you a new feature that can save even more time for you and your team. We call it Custom Tasks and it defines actions executed after each project, module or file is exported.
In a Project Editor, you can create more types of Custom Tasks:
1. Task performed after the whole project export.
2. Task after each migration file export.
3. Task after each schema file export.
Thanks to this, you can perform additional formatting of all exported files, automatically start code generation, or execute other needed actions. For example, you can run PHP Coding Standards Fixer on each exported file and thus achieve 100% compliance with coding standards according to your own settings.
The new 3.3.2 version is available on the Skipper download site. Or you can just launch the application and the auto-update system will make this work for you.
