This newsletter of June 2022 announced a beta version with support for PHP attributes. The beta was not part of the public release channel, so this page has no changelog. Attributes became available for all users in Skipper 3.3.0 in August 2022.

Attributes are available in Skipper. #[Attributes]

As Php Attributes become more and more used and common, we couldn't stay behind. It hasn't been quite an easy task, but after a lot of work, we would like to introduce the first Skipper beta version with Attributes support.

So if you going to or already use Attributes in your projects, you are welcome to download a new version of Skipper and try it out. We will be happy for every tester that gives some feedback.

Will Skipper download the new version automatically?

No, this time answer is unfortunately it will not. Since this version is just a beta and hasn't been properly tested by a larger amount of our users, we don't want to make it public yet.

Can I test Attributes support on my existing project?

Yes, you can. Just change the export format from annotations to attributes and all the selected project parts will be converted to new Php Attributes.

What else is new in this version?

Well, there is plenty of changes. However, most of them are related to Attributes.

Do you have any idea?

Does the Attribute support work well? Yes? No?

No matter, what the answer is, we will be very pleased for letting us know. Write us to our support forum or email us at [email protected].

Have a nice day!
