[Answered] Skipper Viewer can't be activated

Hi,

there seems to be a problem when using Skipper viewer. There is a notification that the license is not valid anymore. When clicking "register", entering name and email address I'm receiving a code by email. When entering this code I'm getting following error:

"your Skipper license page"

Is it true that the viewer can only be used with a full (paid) license?

Hi,

yes, starting with last month Skipper viewer license terms slightly changed.

Skipper viewer is still for free for any amount of computers but only for users with active license maintenance.

This means that you can have one full license and still can activate viewer for as many computers (your colleagues, customers, etc.) as you need, but the maintenance has to be valid.

There is no reason to use skipper without full license because Skipper viewer serves only for "viewing" models created in full version.
